WE ARE OFFICIALLY MIDWAY THROUGH THE REGULAR SEASON BOYS!
Hard to believe that the fantasy regular season is already halfway over. As I look back and reminisce on the past 7 weeks, I can’t help but think this is undoubtedly the most competitive year in the 9 year history of Blackout Kings. For this week, we’ll do some mid-season memes to go along with the normal 1-12 rankings.
1. 1st Down Syndrome – Lance Taylor
Yes, your eyes don’t deceive you. That is Lance with a “1” next to his name. Does he deserve to be here? Probably not quite yet – but damnit he IS here.

2. Buck-ee’s – Quin Davis
Commish comes in at the 2 spot this week after losing a close battle to Giovanni. Bucky Irving is now out for his 4th consecutive week, and things could be trending down for this squad…or could he be right where he wants to be…?

3. Nabers Dead – Matthew Sherrick
Sherrick has handled adversity just as you’d expect a 2 time champ would – by bitching and crying but still being really good and picking guys up and managing his roster. Well done kid.

4. Catching Cases, Not Passes – Giovanni Franzese
I’ve loved this team since Week 1, you can go back and look. What a staple win last week for Gio over the commish, that’s one that can propel you all the way to the finish line.

5. CHASE’N TAIL – Dillon Reisinger
“Analysts better put some fucking respect on my name this week buddy…I’m coming for that ring”

6. Lemme See Your Pitts – Jake Odenweller
There’s been a lot of ups, and a lot of downs, for Jake’s boys so far this season. The injury bug has started to rear its ugly head – but fret not, anti-grass toucher mode has been activated. Expect a big second half.

7. Quantitative – Andrew Arney
Nothing special, nothing terrible. Just consistently mediocre. And you know what that gets you halfway through the year? A 4-3 record with Rashee Rice back on the football field. Andrew continues to quietly lurk.

8. Saquon Deez Nuts – Evan Tooley
Evan has one of the best teams in the league and I’ll stand by that, but damnit they just can’t put it all together! Evans is officially dead, a big blow indeed. But Lamar is back from the dead, which is big. This is the most interesting team to watch in the 2nd half of the season.

9. Addison HenRae – Reed Pike
Everyone and their mother knows that Reed has his guys. And you know what? I think his guys are in for a big second half of the year. Chase Brown is trending up, Dak and Pickens is a duo to remember, and 3-4 is a fine place to be.

10. Charlie’s Team – Drake Olson
Lineup mistakes and poor managing has been the story of the first half for Drake. But damnit you have to respect the gusto of this guy. Consistently underestimating his opponent while simultaneously overestimating himself will eventually lead to success.

11. Scary Tiddas – Dave Carney
This team has looked less awful and less awful week after week. Was it a tough first half? Sure. Will the second half be better? Maybe slightly. But no one, and I mean NO ONE, can talk shit about Dave’s commitment level. For years and years this guy puts in the work and never stops trying. A staple of the league.

12. Creatine Caucasians – Jared Reiss
This is very unchartered territory for the OG 2-Time Champ. But even so, let’s not fucking forget that this is, in fact, the ORIGINAL, 2-Time Champ. I know he’ll never throw in the towel, championship mindset for the 2nd half of the year.
