Below you’ll find our league specific bylaws – all other bylaws are in line with standard ESPN Fantasy Football rules and regulations.
- FAAB TRADING IS NOW ALLOWED!
- If you’d like to include FAAB in a trade, text the commission before the deal is done and let him know what money is involved – FAAB will have to be manually moved.
- ESPN Default Injury Replacement
- ESPN has now added a feature where they will automatically sub out an injured player in a starting roster for a player on your bench. I have turned this ON, as I was just manually doing this myself in the past. In order to have an injured player replaced, you must have a player on your bench that can fill in that spot. If you don’t have a player on your bench that can sub in – tough shit, you get a 0.
- Fair Play Rule (or, Sherrick Rule)
- We can’t have a repeat of the Sherrick situation, so we are implementing the Sherrick Rule this year. This rule states that each team must field a full lineup, with the intention of winning that week’s matchup (i.e. no 3 point projected player over a 16 point projected player). I know there’s some gray area here and anyone can argue about starting a player, but just use common sense. This was never an issue prior to last year, so I don’t see it being an issue going forward.
- Last. Place. Punishment.
- We are finally implementing a last place punishment. We’ve never done it before, so even playing field for everyone. Last place will be determined by the worst regular season record. If there is a tie, PF will be the tiebreaker. Gio and Drake have officially been named as the Punishment Squad and will be tasked with presenting ideas for punishment that the league can decide on. DENIAL OF LAST PLACE PUNISHMENT WILL LEAD TO THAT INDIVIDUAL PAYING 3x ENTRY FEE THE FOLLOWING YEAR ($300).
